How do I get myself started again, when I’ve gotten out of the habit of taking action in some area? Here are three specific, proven techniques I use on myself.
What are you tolerating in the area you want to change, and what is it costing you? Once you truly expose that cost to yourself, without any sugar coating, you get serious traction on the road to making the change. When you can get yourself to the point of zero tolerance, through really understanding the cost, you’ve opened the door wide open to making lasting change.
Trust can be developed and deepened by noticing and celebrating, when you are in a great place, what trusting action helped get you there.
The biggest part of doing something challenging or scary is setting your mind to the fact that you ARE going to do it. NOW. The time has come. This is it.
